The problem
Every Tuesday
Eleven envelopes, none of them opened. Two are junk, one is a pension statement, and one has a date on it that matters. He will get to them at the weekend. He has been getting to them at the weekend since March.
Thursday, 6.04pm
A text says a parcel is held and a small fee is due. It arrives on the evening she really is waiting for a delivery, it looks exactly like the real ones, and it wants her card details. She has about thirty seconds to decide, on her own, with nobody to ask.
Six weeks later
The council wrote in February and asked for a reply by March. The first the family knew of it was the letter that came in April, the one with the word enforcement in it.

How it works
Step one
Any letter, any text, any email. She takes one picture, the way she would send a photo of the dog. There is nothing to log into and no form to fill in first.
Step two
What it is, who it is really from, whether there is a deadline, and what to do next. Written in plain words, with no jargon, and never a lecture.
Step three
Anything dangerous appears in your family feed the moment it happens. You never have to ring and ask whether anything has come. Nothing gets past the family again.

The promise
Your family’s letters stay your family’s business.
Plainly, so you can weigh it up: the reading is done by Anthropic’s Claude, on servers in the United States, under a written agreement with the safeguards UK law requires for sending data abroad. A fully private mode, where letters never leave Silverpost’s own machines, is on our roadmap. We will tell you the day it arrives, and not a day before. It is all set out in the privacy policy.
Her letters are processed under a written contract with the artificial intelligence provider. They are never sold, they are never used to train it, and nobody keeps them but us. She can delete the lot whenever she likes, and if we cancel, it all goes with her.
